The Moscow Times
The Moscow Times is Russia's first and leading English language daily newspaperand has become the primary source of news to the growing number of foreignbusinessmen, diplomats and journalists living and working in Moscow and StPetersburg.
The newspaper, which has appeared five days per week since October 1992, covers political, business and cultural news from within the former Soviet Union. It has a staff of approximately 30 reporters, as well as a stable of columnists and freelancers. The newspaper's focus has begun to move increasingly towards business coverage. In September 1994 the Moscow Times Index was launched, Russia's only comprehensive and tightly monitored stock index to track a booming securities market.
